“Awesome resort. It is a sibling to the Majestic Elegance next door, both similar in price. One really isn't better than the other when it comes to food and amenities. I paid for the upgrade "club" class & it's definitely worth it. I loved being able to have a private low-key access to a quiet quick-serving bar and pool especially have a long day's excursion... I hate being around people after being sun-soaked on the middle of the sea for 6 hours.
Your towels are more plush and absorbent & you can have glass by the pool... I know that sounds weird, but nothing worse than a melting cheap red cup poolside. It's an upgraded feeling overall. VIP all the way.
If you want modern chic, stay on the Elegance side. Majestic Colonial stands for its name. Colonial vibe, and that's what I love when I'm on vacation in South.
