“We had booked the Hotel for our anniversary for an overnight stay. We checked 29/08/22@ 3pm and we're welcomed by the staff from the hotel, to our surprise the staff member who served us we were told that we had an upgraded room for our anniversary. The room itself was very nice nothing to fault. The hotel itself was situated in a very quiet area and very easy to get around London. The bar lounge in the hotel was open till 12.30 am and we did try a few drinks here. Breakfast the next day was very good could not fault it, the only thing was the service from the staff they did leave us waiting at the table to serve us. The check-out was straight forward no issues here, we were able to leave our bag with the hotel while we went and looked around London and came back in the evening to pick the bag up with no charges that nice of the hotel. Recommend this hotel.”

“So not my first visit to this hotel but so many things went wrong. Arrived 3.30 on a Saturday and kept waiting until 5pm before a room was ready. Only made available when I complained as we'd been forgotten about in the bar and we had a 6pm dinner date. I spotted people were being checked in but we'd been ignored. Was offered an updated room. Not sure what the difference was as looked standard room. Small room but comfortable. Tiny bathroom with door hitting the toilet so you couldn't fully open it. One channel only on telly and no hot water to sink. Oddly the shower was hot but you don't pay this kind of money to hold a shower hose over the sink to have a shave which I had to do. After 24 hours were offered yet another upgrade. Luke warm water to sink again (despite concierge saying he'd checked it) but we'd given up by this stage. The electrics in the room were strange and lights wouldn't go off and some not come on. To turn the bedsits light off I reached under the bedside table to unplug only to realise I was touching the cabling to a socket that was hanging off the wall. Fortunately not electrocuted but this is an accident waiting to happen. How a brand like Hilton could offer such a dangerous room I'll never know. These rooms are meant to be newly renovated but whoever has been signing off the completed works clearly hasn't a clue how to snag building works. At first glance they look like nice rooms but lots of niggles. Shower door didn't close and loose fittings everywhere. Stains up the walls.. The list goes on. The maintenance management leaves a lot to be desired at this site. As I checked out I overheard another guest saying he couldn't turn the lights out in his room and it was the worst Hilton he'd stayed in globally. Management, please take note. This site is ruining your reputation. I've stayed in better run Premier inns. There's something going horribly wrong at this site and if all the electrics are this way it's an accident waiting the happen. I reported electrics as I left so hopefully they'll not offer this room until resolved.”
