The new kid on the block has arrived — fitting right into the neighborhood while making a jaw-dropping statement. Standing 35 stories tall, Moxy Chelsea NYC is an inspired addition to Midtown Manhattan, modern yet respectful of its storied surroundings. Tucked within the bustling Flower District, our hotel ushers guests through an overgrown flower shop, where a lush conservatory provides an inviting urban retreat. Design-forward details like an LED art installation and immersive culinary and co-working spaces are spread across the ground floor and lobby, encouraging work and play. Rooms are functional and fun, drenched in natural light and offering stunning vistas of NYC. The views get more spectacular atop our 35th floor glass-encased rooftop lounge, where all of Manhattan lays glittering before you. With four new dining experiences by TAO Group and Francesco Panella located within our hotel, there's no reason to leave — except, of course, to explore the greatest city in the world.

“The rooms are not too small, but if you are traveling with friends, it might get weird because you can see through the glass that separates the shower and the toilet. I love the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the views are beautiful. In the elevator, there’s a sign indicating that the access to the rooftop is on the second floor. That isn’t true tho, so idk, I think that sign should be removed if you don’t wanna be bothered and rude to guests trying to access the rooftop through a direction that the hotel itself indicates, but it doesn’t exist (?).The bar on the second floor is nice, and the coffee shop attached to the lobby is pretty good. It gets very busy early in the morning. On the day of my check-out, only 2 elevators were working. It seemed that none of the staff were concerned about it, even though the guests had to wait for a long time to get an elevator that wasn’t packed like a can of sardines. The location is good. It’s close to subway stations and about a 20-30 minutes walk to some Broadway theaters.Overall is a nice hotel. I don’t know if I would stay there again because the staff attitude was “meh.””

Rooms are small and efficient, without any luxuries like a refrigerator or a closet - but that’s exactly what they’re billed to be, so no complaints here.

I can confirm to a review below that the doorman at this hotel was the most friendly. The location was great. However, just like many other hotels near this area. I stay at Moxy Chelsea from Sept 15 - 19 and booked a Skyline view, the view was decent. I was informed by the front desk that I had $30 dollar worth of food and beverage credit. However, I did NOT find until the last day from the coffee shop staff (next to the hotel) that it was $30 PER day, which I had more than $100 dollar gone to waste. Throughout my stay, the doorman was the most friendly guy...

Beautiful views of the Empire State Building. Small room, but well designed to maximize space. One of the most quiet hotels I've stayed in. Great area, subway lines within half a block.
The view from The Fleur Room on the roof is jaw dropping, but go early or reserve a table.
Only draw back was the AC didn't go below 68 and would get warm at night.
Highly recommend.

My daughter and I came for a two night stay and loved this hotel. The vibe and the service of all staff (except one Evening manager).was warm, helpful and friendly. The location was great. The rooms are small but super nice and ours was spotless. The bed was wonderful and the view was spectacular. We were on the 19th floor and it was so quiet. Breakfast and coffee were much appreciated. We can’t wait to return.

Overall I loved this hotel. The room was very clean upon arrival and super cute. The lobby was very clean and nice. Manny (front desk) had such a bubbly personality he’s honestly why I gave the extra star! And he was so helpful and funny. When I checked out I was able to leave my bags at the hotel to go explore the city so this was a definite plus.Cons:The only downside to my hotel stay was that my room was not cleaned the entire stay. I had to ask for fresh towels. They did not take the dirty towels. And when I asked for my room to be cleaned/serviced that day the lady at the front desk said they couldn’t do a full cleaning that day. She stated they could bring fresh towels and take out the trash. Well upon returning to my room the trash hadn’t been taken out but I did have extra towels I didn’t need since I asked for more towels the night before.Other than that my stay was lovely. I loved the location and other amenities of the hotel. Especially the friendly staff!
