Great resort. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The WHOLE team was just amazing, I have worked many years managing hospitality, so appreciate a good service and here they really do a good job. Congratulations and thank you to ALL the staff. Specially to Hector from housekeeping, Juan at the gym and the waiter Joaquin. If I would have to say something I didn't like is that our room was a bit noisy, but I am sure there are others quieter. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to have fun holidays at the Caribbean.

This resort was by far the worst all inclusive resort I have ever experienced! From the food at the buffets we’re not catered to real authentic Dominican food! The restaurants did not have proper service nor the food was edible. The bar only has rum and if you request something other than that they try to charge you extra for it! Everything we requested was not available, for example we requested a burger from the room service menu, please explain “how is a burger unavailable” they were out of burgers. So we ordered a chicken sandwich and was sent a processed disgusting chicken patty that wasn’t even edible! The guest at this hotel are all retired and not social! If you are looking for an all inclusive PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE! Everything that is promised on there website they do not offer! Please note a dress code for one of there restaurants on the property, of which mind you they do not disclose this information until you get to the resort, so if your husband doesn’t have long pants on, they will NOT allow you to enter! I will NEVER return to this Dump! Honestly we need to be compensated!

Una estancia de 10. El personal amable, colaborador, deseando q la estancia en el resort sea magnífica. Siempre dispuestos a darte gusto , un servicio inmejorable. Las instalaciones maravillosas. La limpieza fantástica, los insectos no aparecen, están funigando cada poco y lostienen a raya . La animación es maravillosa hay un equipo fantástico q organiza mil y una actividades. Están súper pendientes d todos y cada uno d los huespedes. Las piscinas increíbles. Puedes estar sin salir del hotel y hacer cosas diferentes todos los días.En resumen volveremos!!!

La mejor experiencia de resort que he tenido. De los 10+ resorts que yo he visitado, este ha sido por mucho el que mejor me ha hecho sentir. Y no es grande o lleno de actividades, pero el servicio y las atenciones lo elevan por encima de todos los demás que he ido. Muy agradecido.

Las 5 estrellas son de por si, para ese gran equipo de trabajadores qué hacen qué la estancia sea exclusiva. Atencion, dedicación y esmero. Restaurants, Recreation, mantenimiento, Todos sin exclusión, te hacen sentir y disfrutar cada momento. Estaré de regreso, de eso no cabe duda,porque son esas personas tan maravillosas las que hacen qué volvamos.

Es excelente. No podría criticar nada del personal dominicano. Son tan amables, correctos, serviciales y simpáticos, que cuando cometen algún error (son humanos) se pasa por alto, sin más. El mar es lo menos destacable, pero también está bueno.

He pasado una semana maravillosa en el Bahía Príncipe Bouganville. Viajé sola para relajarme y alejarme de la situación tan dura que hemos y estamos viviendo, y solo puedo decir que mis expectativas han sido superadas. El Hotel es muy acogedor, el servicio impecable, y las instalaciones de lo mejor que he disfrutado. Se gana las 5 estrellas en todos los sentidos. Dispone de una piscina al lado de la playa donde nunca te vas a aburrir, ya que el equipo de animación trabaja durante todo el día para que el entretenimiento y la música no pare. Chicos, sois los mejores!! Si lo que buscas es tranquilidad, la otra piscina, tan o más bonita que la principal, es un remanso de paz. He leído alguna crítica de la playa y tengo que decir que a la hora de elegir el hotel era algo que me asustaba.. A pesar de no tener el agua turquesa, la playa es una maravilla. Sombrillas, palmeras y mar, la típica postal de una playa Caribeña. Y que nadie se pierda las puestas de sol en una tumbona en la playa porque son impresionantes y difíciles de olvidar.Gracias a todo el personal del Bahía Príncipe por hacer mi estancia inolvidable.

This place is beautiful. The staff are super helpful and very friendly. The food is pretty good at the buffet. The restaurants are awesome. All of the restaurants had great food and wonderful staff. Entertainment is all day and all night. You will have a great time here. The beach is terrible. You can't go for a long walk with out having climb up and down. The water is muddy and rocks stick up out of the sand in the water.

The Bouganville staff and resort are great. Very friendly staff. Restaurant service was nice and each staff greeted us and took care of all of our needs. Poolside and nightly entertainment were enjoyable and interactive. However, the housekeeping staff were terrible. They did not provide towels daily or any washcloths. When they did provide towels, they left our old towels on the floor, hooks and chairs where we had left them after use. We did not have an extra roll of toilet paper and so we ran out over night and when we called the # provided to request a roll, no one answered. Thank goodness we brought along flushable wipes.Other than that, I would say it is a great place to stay.

Overall a fantastic trip. The staff was excellent!!!. The only downfall was the food. The buffet-style for breakfast and lunch was not what we were thinking for everyday.Also, we could not bring food from the buffet back to the room; we only had the option for room services. I wish there were a mom or pop food restaurant that serves no buffet style for lunch even if it wasn’t included in the all- inclusive. But overall great trip; the resort is beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend.

The workers work really hard to make sure your time there is as pleasant as possible. They go above and beyond to make sure all your expectations are met. They even have a guest coordinator Jochi that welcomes you catches up with you throughout the resort and asks if you are celebrating anything special or if there is anything he can do to make your stay even better. The resort has a great pool with a swim up bar. Yes the beach is not clear but it is a beautiful beach. The buffet is amazing and the restaurants add a better touch to it all. Drinks are well made and the mini bar was refilled everyday. Everything I expected was met and will definitely go back again.

This place is amazing. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. The rooms are spacious, the pools are clean, the beach is awesome. The buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing. What is offered changes every day, the fruit is fresh, there is practically anything you could wish for. I’ve never been anywhere like this and I am on love. However, there is one minor caveat, while there are plenty of vegetarian options you have to guess. Nothing is marked “vegetarian” or “gluten free” or “nut free” or anything. If you are vegan, I don’t even know what to say, stick to the fruit and salad. I’m pretty sure there is butter in half of the vegetarian dishes. It would be great if they could note what is what as far as dietary restrictions are concerned. Anyway, I still love it here and I’m blissfully happy during my stay. They really take care of you. Would highly recommend this place.

My stay at Bahia Principe Luxury was truly a trip to paradise! The property was gorgeous - as pictured. Every area was clean and very well kept. The food was FANTASTIC - all restaurants on the property were absolutely delicious with plenty of options. My favorite restaurant was probably Takara, their Asian option. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are varied with so many delicious options and many healthy options! So many great choices for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike! Their pools were clean and beautiful. Their beach area has plenty of chairs and many shaded areas or full sun so you can make your favorite selection. I would like to highlight their staff - their staff is what made my trip truly so incredible. From check in to check out and every little detail in between, they shown through in their kindness and attention to detail. I truly felt like a queen!

My husband and I discovered this gem few years ago and we are keep coming back. Beach is fantastic from sunrise to sunset we enjoyed all. Resort is spotless from lobby area andaround the entire property. Staff is amazing Maria the captain from Don Pablo restaurant was great!!!👏 🙌 all congratulations for managing restaurants. Don Pablo is a must to try.We will definitely return 5th time very soon.Thank you very much for everything ❤️

Beautiful resort.Very friendly staff.The best drinks are likely at the main lobby bar and the beach bar.But you can't beat the fun at the main pool.Rooms were great.Beach is good, but note that you have to walk about a half mile before you can see your feet while in the water.Many delicious eating options.The buffets are good throughout the resort, and you can easily find something delicious to eat at all hours, even if you're fussy.

Loved it here. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great food and drinks. The beach was nice, the only downside was that the actual shoreline was a bit narrow and there was a foot drop very close to shore but the water was not very clear so it’s a bit tricky getting into the ocean. Overall a great spot though!

El Hotel es perfecto,tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones increíblemente buenas …POR QUE???? Pues por que la limpieza es excelente igual donde vallas o estes,los baños están perfectamente limpios igual donde vallas,las habitaciones muy limpias y constantemente cambian todas las ropas de camas y baño además de mantener constantemente el mini bar lleno,La comida es genial además por la variedad de alimentos frescos.Los trabajadores son todos muy amables sobre todo la señorita Valeria del lobby bar(TAMARINDO) que es muy atenta y servicial y siempre pendiente a lo más mínimo que necesitesbeber. En fin somos Suizos y conocemos bien los estándares Internacionales,por lo que crean y confíen en nuestro testimonio de dicho hotel. Es el mejor de República Dominicana. Sin la más mínima Adulación a nadie en especifico,, solo decimos la verdad de lo que vimos. Es Genial. Si algún día regresamos a Dominicana este será nuestro Hogar. A estadia está a ser ótima,o local é encantador, serviço 5 estrelas, contudo existem alguns pontos que podem melhorar... O isolamento entre os quartos e as atividades deviam estar relacionadas com a praia também.

Fantástico Resort vou repetir de certeza, costumo ficar muitas vezes em resorts do Bahia Principe e este é o meu preferido todos os funcionários preocupados se está tudo bem em especial Dumbo, é um resort muito calmo óptimo para descansar. Vou repetir com certeza

Hotel com excelentes condições desde quartos a salas de jantar e espaços verdes. Óptimas piscinas.Animação muito agradável. A praia não corresponde ao mar das Caraíbas. Apesar de estar sempre limpa, a água é escura e com algas. De notar à gerência a inclusão de um casal neste hotel de um casal com estadia no hotel Lá Romana e que vinha dançar de manhã, à tarde e à noite que incomodava constantemente. No entanto foi-lhes dado pulseiras deste hotel para poderem usufruir sem pagar o mesmo que os restantes hóspedes.

Buenos días a los que puedan interesar. Este mes de noviembre 2021 estuve visitando este hotel tengo tan mala experiencia aquí que no se lo aconsejo a nadie. La verdad es que todavía no están preparados para dar ningún tipo de servicio. Le están robando al cliente. Es una lástima porque está súper linda la instalación. Mis saludos a Edy de animación.

I'll keep it brief: this hotel is advertising things it did not have. The whole Grand Ls Romana resort is closed and all shops and entertainment within the village as well. No gym, it took complaining to a manager to find out where the included water sports were. Front desk staff are rude and dismissive. The breakfast buffet was gross. Both the power AND water went out twice while we were showering. Wifi is very spotty and was down the while fosrt night, and a staff member walked into our room while my wife was showering and only after my wife screamed and told them to get out did they leave. Other people feces were gurgling into our toilet. We had 5 nights booked and left after 2, if you are OK with paying those prices to sit a pool and beach all day everyday, then you'll like it here.

Pero la playa no vale nada....que decepción

Based on our experience at the hotel I would not stay again or recommend it to friends or family. We made the best of our stay and many of our experiences were positive, for example the entertainment team especially Maridania and many of the bartenders especially Carlos. The facilities outside of the room were nice (pool/beach loungers and umbrellas, the pool, the food), however the beach is not a white sandy beach but the water is clean. The food during our stay varied and was yummy, most of the a la carte restaurants were very delicious.One of our biggest concerns with our stay was the service from the front desk and problem resolution/follow up. Many of the front desk staff, were often rude and dismissive. We had many issues with our room to the point that they changed us rooms at 2 am in the morning, after we had already been waiting 1h and 30 mins for answers.To outline our issues specifically, in our first room the lights were not working all the time, we had no blackout/privacy blinds (we were on the main floor with a path right behind us) and the minibar wasn't cold. We informed them of these issues on Monday and they moved us on Wednesday when our light card reader stopped working fully. In the second room on the day we were leaving the washroom was backing up and the toilet and sink were bubbling, as well as releasing an awful smell. There was also spotty internet for most of our stay, which really wasn’t an issue for us however the whole hotel has switched to a QR code system and really relied on this to communicate (menus, booking tables, ordering room service, booking covid tests, etc.) which made it challenging on days where internet was out.Furthermore, when asking for services that were guaranteed ( for example receiving water bottles in our room) it often lead to dry responses from staff and long wait times to receive more of these items even though they should have been restocked when the room was cleaned. We also experienced a lot of amenities unavailable, for example the gym and bars open past 12am.Many times throughout our stay we felt frustrated and felt that we spent a good portion stressed and waiting around. When you go on vacation you don't want to leave saying "we made the best of it" especially at a resort with such a high rating and reviews that seemed to be very positive.

We came back for a second visit. Had an awesome time again. We had a couple minor problems but they were quick to fix them. Once again the entertainment team was fantastic. They do a very good job. We especially loved Mini Paul. He was excellente. All the staff were great as well. Santo took very good care of us at the pool bar. Would definitely go back! 😁😁😁😎😎😎

Bar staff and entertainment staff were great and fun! Front desk staff where dismissive and rude. I still don’t understand how this is a “luxury” 5 star resort. Would not recommend.

The resort itself is just beautiful and a perfect get away for those who just want a few relaxing days on the pool or beach. The staff was extremely friendly, the entertainment team was so much fun and the workouts were fantastic. The food and drinks were good, but in all honesty no comparison to Western European standards. I would definitely come back here!

We stayed for 2 weeks from Nov 6 to Nov 20, 2021. Overall we had a great stay! The resort just reopened on Nov 1 so some minor hiccups the first few days but the staff really went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. When we checked into our room they checked everything in the room with us and quickly addressed our safe that wasn't working. We also ran into an issue with the AC (our own fault actually) but they were very quick to come and fix it! We were asked multiple times throughout our trip if we were happy and if everything was to our liking. We tried all the A La Cartes and the food was always great. We had no issues getting reservations or reservations at times that we wanted. Don Pablo is the best A La Carte. Jose (one of the waiters) works the breakfast buffet and the dinner at Don Pablo and always made sure we were happy. Drinks were never empty and he even remembered our order and brought it to us when we were seated. The buffet has regular theme nights and the selection is always good. They require masks be worn in all the restaurants/bars/lobby and regularly take people's temperature. They also hand out gloves for the buffet. They really good above and beyond to keep everyone safe. The have 2 pools, a party pool and a quiet pool. We spent lots of time at both and the change of pace was really nice. The bartenders at the pool bars, Edgar and Santos, are always great! So quick and attentive! The drinks always taste amazing. The entertainment team is an absolute blast. Always happy and energetic. Silvia was super friendly and made sure we had a great time. They keep everyone engaged with games during the day and shows during the evening. If you get a chance, the burlesque show was the best evening show they had! If you book excursions, book them through the hotel. Because of the location (apparently) we had never ending issues with our tours being rescheduled with WestJets representative, but the ones we booked through the hotel had no issues and were cheaper! Bring cash as there's no ATM or currency exchange on site!

Um dos melhor hotéis que já estive, conforto, diversidade de restaurantes, tivemos problemas no check in onde exigiam um cartt de crédito mesmo tendo pago tudo antecipado no Brasil, depois desse constrangimento e muitos pedidos de desculpa onde reconheceram seu erro tudo ficou tranquilo.

It was amazing!!! The entertainment was nothing of short of fantastic. I came with my partner and they greeted us with warm welcomes and so much hospitality! I will come back again and again. Vacation is suppose to feel fun and beautiful and this was exactly it. Maria one of the animation of entertainers was so kind. Her performance was very enjoyable. She made our trip out of the world

I'm a man of few words and straight to the point. The food was very good. The a la cart restaurant from Bouganville were much better thanthe a la cart restaurant from the Grand (the other resort we had access to). We always found a very good place to sit ether at the beach or at the pool. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They give a very good service for example one of our double sink was clog and within 10 minutes someone came and fix it. The staff in general are very pleasant. The ocean water was cloudy because of the sand but very clean no algae. We had two days of rain a few days of clouds but nobody controls mother nature.

Overall we had a wonderful time at Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville. Since the moment I arrived the staff was very attentive. The grounds are kept up well and it’s as beautiful as I imagined. Our last night we had dinner at Don Pablo which was delicious with impeccable service. We only expected the service to be more consistent at the buffets through the property. Entertainment was also very good!

Nice place. Big rooms. Nice beach with lots of trees. Good a la carte restaurants for most of them. Buffets could be a bit better and better care to ensure that there are enough serving spoons and forks so that people do not contaminate a dish with stuff from other dishes need by.

Has great potential, needs some cosmetic updates. Rooms are a nice size but the beds feel like your sleeping on a rock. The staff was amazing!!! The food was not good at all. We were a party of 30 there for a wedding and there was a good chunk of us who got sick every time we ate the food. The food was cold most of the time even in the restaurants, had to send food back every time but it still wasn't good. We where there for 6 days and went to stay at RIU Republic and it was complete opposite...food was amazing, buffet was fresh everyday, cooks making the food right in front of you and replacing the food if was there for to long..BIG DIFFERENCE!

Just spent 4 days there for my best friends 10 year anniversary. There was a group of 9 of us and the staff was amazing. Our Butler Fausto was great and the wait staff at the buffet near the main desk treated us like family. Elvyn and Jose took such great care of us. Really enjoyed our trip. Would def recommend. The entertainment staff at the pool were top notch. Thanks for the great memories!

A real tropical paradise and a dream destination for every journey. We came here for our honeymoon and what we found was even better than every description on the internet. Beautiful and very clean rooms, amazingly friendly people, great shows... In brief:just perfect! But a small warning: you are surrounded every day by the most delicious food and cocktails and the gym area is rather small - so your beach body won't last very long. :)

One of the most awesome vacations I have ever had. Can’t think of nor make up a disappointment or ill thing to say. Staff astounding and attentive not intrusive.
