“The grounds and facilities of the Bávaro Barcélo Palace are beautiful and huge.We stayed in the family section with a great interactive kids pool.The rooms were spacious enough for the four of us and there were two balconies (one off of each bedroom).It did get a little noisy when all the little kids in the building woke up.There is vibrations of noise throughout.Despite the fact that the resort was full, there is plenty of space and room around the pool or on the beach.The only time you feel the crowds is when it’s feeding time.Then the place turns into a zoo.The food is sub-par at best.And because they have to turn over so much food so quickly to feed so many people it was often times served cold or raw.The same salads are served everywhere for breakfast, lunch and dinner.The quality and taste are really lacking.If the food was better we would return.But after 5 days of eating that food I was ready to go.”

La animación fue muy divertida , la estadía hay fue espectacular , los juego , las zumbas , los eventos especiales fueron bastante entretenidos en especialmente las chicas Andreina y samira fueron un amor , mucha atención y Cariño de ellas espero verla el año que viene

Para nada lo que yo esperaba. Mi segunda vez en Punta Cana, lo que me hizo regresar fueel trato del primer hotel. Este Hotel nada que ver, a las personas les da lo mismo. Primera vez que voy a un hotel donde en la piscina no dan servicio, tienes que pararte constantemente si Quieres algo. Tengo niños pequeños en mi habitacion, a las 10 de la noche me tocaron a la puerta porque el ruido de los niños molestaba a los huespedes vecinos…Pura fama Este Hotel! Muy desencantada. La animacion muy mala. Bueno tiene las habitaciones, las mantienen limpias. La comica en el bufet no esta mala…

Went over spring break with large group.Couldn't get reservations at the restaurants until super late.Was accused of stealing money by a customer at the casino bar and staff indicated it was a ordinary ritual with this particular gentleman.It was an intense engagement. Overall, was not a good experience.I'm sure it's better when less crowded but they could do a better job in busy season.

O hotel é muito grande, existem 2 grandes salas de buffet, e espaço exterior. Reparei que os/as funcionárias, são muito jovens e pouco orientadas para o serviço. Parece terem sido recrutadas agora , sem formação de serviço prévia. Ex: serviram-me um café sem, pires, posseram em cima da mesa a chávena.Trazem guardanapos, já manipulados sem luvas, arranjar uma colher de chá, era difícil . Tudo parecia esquecido, era frequente ter que pedir várias vezes. Os lençóis do quarto, eram mudados todos os dias, mas a limpeza do quarto era deminuta. As mesas do buffet, eram mal limpas, etc. Quanto ao buffet, era muito variado, mas nada sobressaía, como atração. Os restaurantes temáticos, eram muitos, e desses gostei muito, especialmente o " Hoyo 19". Os funcionários são muito dependentes de gorjeta, pelo que, as pessoas que não o fazem, são esquecidas. Penso que é um problema , a nível de quase todos os resorts. Ainda assim, continuo a gostar de Punta Cana (já lá fui 3 vezes).

O atendimento do hotel é péssimo, pessoas sempre com cara fechada e emburradas e para tudo no hotel eles querem gorjeta, não tem lógica você dar gorjeta quando o atendimento é péssimo, além de você pagar caro para se hospedar no hotel ainda tinha que ficar dando gorjeta, o hotel é cheio de regrinhas sem lógica, os funcionários não fazem nenhum esforço para tornar sua estádia ágil, a limpeza dos quartos era mais ou menos o nosso quarto estava sempre empoeirado, a porta do frigobar estava caindo, móveis antigos, não gostei da comida, tinha muita salada e o restante do buffet era igual todos os dias, os restaurantes que tinha que reservar para jantar não gostamos da comida tbm poucas opções, todo lugar no hotel cheirava a cigarro, as pessoas fumam em todas as dependências do hotel. A boate do hotel era bem estruturada porém tem que trocar de DJ porque tocava cada música horrível dos anos 50 que as pessoas nem se animavam em dançar e acabavam indo para o quarto dormir, o som ambiente do hotel era muito chato, parecia música de final de velório, poderia tocar músicas latinas seria mais agradável e a parte de shows e entretenimento do hotel era muito fraca, tirando tudo isso oelgor de tudo era a praia, a água era cristalina, limpa sem ondas e a água era quentinha, praia típica caribenha, enfim no Brasil existem Risorts muito melhores em todos os itens citados aqui dou 2 estrelar para o Barceló.

Hotel em franca decadência e hoje muito longe de ser considerado um resort cinco estrelas. Serviços ruins, principalmente o de manutenção de quarto com repetidas ausências de toalhas e limpeza. Talheres desgastados em todos os restaurantes, onde não se encontra uma faca sequer com o serrilhado original e capacidade de corte. A experiência com os serviços no restaurante temático Kyoto é algo para ser esquecido. A não reposição e faltas de itens alimentícios no buffet do café da manhã foi constante, onde os funcionários ( muitos) não dão a necessária atenção na remontagem das guarnições das mesas já utilizadas. O piano eletrônico do bar Carey durante as minhas duas semanas de permanência no hotel, ficou tocando cinco notas musicais repetidamente, exemplo da falta de gerenciamento do local. O Gift Shop comete o absurdo de vender comprimido anti gripal por UNIDADE à US$2,50 cada um ( a funcionária corta a cartela de comprimidos com uma tesoura ), então previna-se e leve medicação básica. Frequência de hotel popular low cost onde a vulgaridade é confundida com despojamento. Nos finais de semana as coisas pioram, quando as piscinas ficam em situação lamentável. Fuja !Se você não acredita, pague para ver.

O pior hotel onde já estive até hoje! O serviço e uma vergonha! A menos que deixemos gorjetas para cada empregado que passa nem água temos na mesa! Na primeira oportunidade que tiveram fui roubada de 50€ no meu quarto, sabendo que a minha carteira estava dentro do cofre mas que este ficou mal fechado, quando abordei o serviço do hotel para fazer queixa disseram que iam investigar e nada mais! Todos os hóspedes estrangeiros que conheci tem exactemente a mesma opinião! Se não ouver dinheiro não há serviço! Revoltante sobretudo quando pagamos um ressort de 5* com tudo incluído, tem piscinas que são a pagar 10$ para os adultos entrarem! Como vamos vigiar Knossos filhos se não entrarmos? Comida sempre repetida de manhã a noite, meu marido teve 3 dias com intoxicação alimentar! Excursões caríssimas! Qualquer local onde vá e praticamente forçado a comprar alguma coisa e entrar em lojas, Honestamente já viajamos muito dentro da Europa foi a primeira vez que saímos para fora e deixa muito a desejar o serviço neste país! Sobretudo quando você fica alojado no que é supostamente o melhor hotel de punta cana para ver que no fim do dia e tratado como se não valesse nada se não ouver dinheiro a ser deixado! Para esquecer e nunca mais repetir! Extremamente desiludida sobretudo com um filho de 2 anos! Fujam enquanto podem e procurem outro destino!

Já estive 3 vezes neste hotel, confesso que a primeira experiência por ser em altura critica de covid, não foi nada positiva pela falta de cuidado e pela adoção de práticas de segurança covid terem sido inexistentes, contudo decidimos regressar e posso dizer-vos que este hotel tem a melhor praia de Punta Cana, é um destino para onde viajo com frequência e já conheci vários hoteis sendo este o meu preferido, tem vários restaurantes, excelente ginásio, wifi muito bom em todo o hotel, quartos bons, vale a pena fazer o upgrade para premium. Não ligam a pedidos especiais mesmo pagando extra mas sempre que seja para ficar em punta cana é aqui que vamos voltar a ficar!

Excelente resort. Buffet muy bueno y con bastante variedad en los alimentos, las bebidas alcohólicas de buena calidad. El restaurante La Fuente maravilloso, muy chic... Restaurante Mexicano lo peor del resort, de Mexicano no tiene nada y la comida horrible así que no pierdan su tiempo allí. Las piscinas enormes, siempre encuentras espacios para estar tranquilo, la playa tenía un poco de sargazo pero todas las mañanas limpiaban y quedaba bellísima,extensas con muchas reposeras. Puedes disfrutar de las las instalaciones del Bávaro beach sin problemas. Todo los empleados muy amables. Recomiendo mucho el mojito que preparan en la disco, lo mejor que he probado . El entrenamiento es su punto bajo, tienen un hermoso teatro y muy grande, pero los show muy aburridos. Ahora biencomo todo resort tiene sus detalles, la habitación Suite que nos tocó todos los días goteaba por la condensación del aire acondicionado,la limpieza de la habitación no era muy buena,tuvimos que reiterar en varias ocasiones que repongan jabón líquido de ducha y el TV que no funcionaba.Un resort tan caro y de esas características ya debería de actualizar su tv anticuados.

O lugar é espetacular, lindo, bem cuidado, com muito entretenimento e atividades para serem realizadas o dia inteiro. Há lojas de tudo quanto é tipo, cafés, tabacarias, bares, restaurantes e cassino. Os quartos são bonitos, bem decorados, limpos e aconchegantes (a cama é excelente), os restaurantes temáticos são bem peculiares, pois alguns têm boa comida e ótimo atendimento e outros a comida não é tão boa e o atendimento é ruim ( recomendo o restaurante "La fuente" e o "Kyoto", são bons e com serviço ok, já o "Sea food" deixou a desejar). No conjunto o hotel é muito bom, mas o tratamento dos funcionários com os hóspedes não condiz com a grandiosidade do lugar e o glamour, pois muitos atendentes só tratam bem os hóspedes após receberem a gorjeta e isso não deveria acontecer, então analiso a falta de treinamento e interesse dos colaboradores para melhorar o atendimento. Contudo indico o hotel, mas de fato é necessário melhorar o treinamento e a apresentação, pois ao chegar no hotel ficamos perdidos por ser tão grande e ninguém explicar onde se localizam as principais coisas.

Hotel cómodo, con excelentes atenciones, su fortaleza no es la comida, pero encontrar que comer, las opciones de los restaurantes temáticos son excelentes, incluye la integración de los espacio del Barceló Bávaro Golf y el Barceló Bávaro Palace.Es solo para adulto por lo que es mas tranquilo que los demás, ideal para negocios, y disfrutar en pareja, aunque siempre tendrás la opción de disfrutar de los espacios comunes de los demás hoteles.

Los camareros del La Brisa los mejores, de los demás tengo poco que decir. El hotel espectacular pero algunas instalaciones están anticuadas (por ejemplo los baños de las habitaciones). Abusivo el precio de una partida de bolos!

Para comenzar el tema comida. Horrible, la peor comida que puede existir, desde los refresco hasta los postres, la atención del personal es pésima, las habitaciones tiene algo positivo que están bien limpia al igual que el resto de las instalaciones pero todo lo otro es un asco. Las bebidas son malísima, los restaurantes con reservación están full nunca hay espacio y luego de las 6 pm no hay nada que hacer. No pierdan su dinero en este hotel.

The resort was beautiful and relaxing. The service and activities were great as well. Unfortunately, the food was not that great. Usually, the restaurants are amazing and buffets are average but in this resort it was the opposite. The buffets were pretty good but restaurants not so great. With the exception of the Mediterranean restaurant. That one was AMAZING. Thanks for the stay!

Overall had a great experience. I traveled with my wife and our kids a 7month and 3 year old. The kids had a blast. All the staff and services were above what we expected from the day we arrived. Don't let the bad reviews fool you. Rooms, beach, and pools were clean. Staff goes above and beyond to offer you a great experience.

Stop here from May 6-9 and it’s a gorgeous resort the rooms are clean and the ocean views are amazing. The staff sent us stuff right away anytime we called for towels, extra water bottles, etc. But when I say this whole trip my husband and I ate bread and fruit, we really did. The food at the buffet was disgusting. He found meat raw, all of it tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. We had them cook us fresh food for our family for a birthday dinner and that food was fresh and still absolutely gross. The only time we had an amazing meal in DR was when we left the resort. It’s a shame because it was really beautiful but we all said we’d never go back.

Desiludiu-me depois de ter estado há 4 anos e ter gostado muito. Piorou na qualidade do servico e no atendimento ao cliente na rececao. Quartos raramente eram limpos qd pediamos e faltavam sempre "coisas", toalhas, papel higienico, lencos de papel,etc.

El hotel está bien, la playa espectacular pero hay aspectos que no son dignos de un hotel de 5 estrellas. Por ejemplo, la comida es un completo desastre, en el buffet todo, todo, frío y pasado, no había nada que se salvara. Los restaurantes a la carta sí estaban bien excepto el de carne y el de marisco que estaba la comida fría y mal hecha. En el restaurante japonés no nos dejaron entrar antes de la hora a la que teníamos reservada para hacernos entrar 1 hora después ni más ni menos. Entramos y no tenían algunas de las cosas que pedimos, se equivocaron en uno de los platos, tardaron muchísimo en atendernos y encima no nos trataron de la mejor manera. Por otro lado, las habitaciones hubo días que las hicieron a las 4 de la tarde, por supuesto olvídate de dormir la siesta en la habitación. Varias veces tuvimos que pedir que nos trajeran toallas porque hacían las habitaciones a medias y no entendían que fuéramos 3 en la habitación. En conclusión, instalaciones bien, playa espectacular pero no es un 5 estrellas

Great resort to stay with/without kids. The room is super clean, the food is good, and everyone can find something to eat . There is entertainment for people, sports, and a nice beach with beautiful water. We stayed there with kids, 3yo and 8 months, so we visited the free kid's pool with slides. There is another one that you have to pay for; it looks fun, but it's more of for older kids. Then, we found another kids pool, small but good enough for toddlers. It was close to buffets, which was great for us. It was the end of February, so the weather was kind of windy. I wish it was a bit warmer. Anyway,I would definitely recommend that place.I want to go back there!🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🏖🏝🌊 No big waves!

Hotel muito bom, comida muito boa! O atendimento poderia ser melhor, muitos funcionários atendem bem, outros não! Atendente do teste de covid é péssima! Na hora de entregar o resultado do teste ficou fazendo suspense, perguntando se minha esposa esta com algum sintoma, rindo... aí entregou o resultado rindo, falando que todos estavam negativos!!!! Imbecilidade desnecessária!!!! Mas recomendo o hotel!!!! Excelente estrutura!!!

Excelente hotel, super limpio y con instalaciones acordes a un all inclusive. Las canchas de futbol y padle son buenisimas, las de tenis y basket estan un poco descuidadas. Los restaurantes son uno mejor que el otro, y la atencion de los empleados es super cordial en todo el hotel, excepto en el buffet. Debes pedir las marcas de alcohol que quieras tomar ya que sino te sirven un genérico que no es rico. La comida es excelente tanto en buffet como en restaurantes. La habitacion con hidromasaje incluido y la limpieza de la misma, 10 puntos.

We have been to Barcelo resorts for 16 of the last 19 years and have never been disappointed. The beaches are immaculate and not overcrowded. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is exemplary! The food is delicious, no matter if you eat at a restaurant, buffet or beach pizza place. Everything is clean and comfortable, and the staff and other guests are friendly and courteous. I cannot say enough good things about these resorts!

This is the worst all inclusive I've been to.The food is a disaster. They have one restaurant that doesn't require reservations and it was Mexican food only.They also close several times a day. The food is cold, not cooked correctly, and not actually correctly labeled. The bacon definitely isn't bacon.The reservation system is horrible because it's hard to get a time. You shouldn't have to scramble just to try to feed yourself. On top of this they are only open at night.Good luck eating while here.

Una auténtica pena. Muchas cosas están cerradas a las 18:00 de la tarde y hasta la hora de la cena no hay nada que hacer. Los restaurantes están llenos y aunque íbamos con niños la hora que tuvimos fueron las 21:30 por lo que muchas noches se quedaron dormidos y no pudieron cenar. El servicio de habitaciones tardaba más de 1 hora. Para colmo nos robaron en dos de las tres habitaciones que teníamos. 50 € y 100€. Tras esperar más de un mes la respuesta del hotel, su director, tras volver a solicitar una respuesta nos contestó que no podían hacer nada porque no sabían qué había pasado. Respuesta bastante deficiente de un director de un hotel de la cadena Barceló, aunque mucho mejor que la señorita de recepción privilege que nos dijo que la culpa era nuestra por no haberlo guardado en la caja fuerte (la caja estaba rota) Tras su respuesta solicité una nueva a atención al cliente central de la cadena, y tras otro mes, ni me han contestado. Hay mucho hoteles en Punta Cana, desde luego nuestra experiencia , y fuimos 11, no ha sido la mejor. NO recomiendo para nada este hotel. Grandes instalaciones, pero el día a día del hotel no es ni práctico ni divertido tanto para adultos como para niños.

I just spend 6 days at this resort. I was very disappointed. The service and food was my biggest complaint. It's very difficult to get the help you are looking for. Always long lines at the customer service and front desk. After standing in line for 15+ minutes you are redirected somewhere else.. Most of the staff are not friendly or helpful, from the front desk to the servers. The food is always the same at the buffet, is not flavorful nor tasty. Most of the time the food is cold or not fully cooked. As gor the restaurants you have to make reservations and out of the 7 restaurants we eat at, the only one we liked was the Japanese one, it was hibachi style the steak and salmon were delicious. The facility is very pretty and that's about all they have. For the amount of money I paid. I will never come back,

Hemos estado de viaje familiar a primeros de diciembre. 3 habitaciones superiore con un total de 11 personas. Lo primero y más negativo que puedo decir es que tanto en nuestra habitación como en la de mis suegros faltó dinero. Después de comunicarlo en el hotel y venir la policía a tomar declaración el hotel se lava las manos completamente y no nos ha ofrecido solución alguna. Cuestiones aparte, se trata de un hotel enorme con muy buenas instalaciones, pero nadie avisa que a las 18 h todo cierra y hasta la hora de la cena ( en nuestro caso turno de las 21 h) no hay absolutamente nada que hacer. Si viajas con niños ( como era el caso) tienes 3 horas muertas en las que no puedes hacer nada excepto ir a la habitación. Muchas de las actuaciones del teatro videos de conciertos. Lo mejor es la comida que está bastante rica ( el peor de los restaurantes temáticos el español, para nosotros el mejor el japonés) El trato del personal muy educado, pero bastante distantes con la clientela. Poca animación en general. En definitiva, no repetiría. Creo que hay hoteles que no son tan lujosos pero que ofrecen mucha más cercanía y otros servicios que hacen que la estancia sea más cómoda y divertida.

Nos vamos tristes y decepcionados con la comida, la pasividad en el servicio, la constante sensación de improvisación, la poca seriedad en las reservas de los restaurantes, dobles cargos en las tarjetas de crédito, dos de siete noches sin que nos hicieran la habitación… Una lástima que la gestión del hotel sea así de deficiente, porque las instalaciones son buenas. Hemos estado en varias ocasiones en Punta Cana, y lamentablemente, ha sido la peor experiencia. Viajábamos en familia en un grupo de 17 personas entre las cuales había 5 niños pequeños. El primer día intentamos reservar restaurantes, pero no conseguimos que nos dieran mesa en toda la semana en una hora decente por lo que los niños no comieron nada en más de la mitad de la estancia porque llegaban dormidos. La comida del buffet muy mejorable, el día de navidad esperábamos algo especial y no fue así. La sensación era que no el equipo que daba servicio a los restaurantes y front desk estaba sobrepasado, y su actitud lo hacía palpable. En nuestra habitación (2 adultos y 3 niños pequeños) ni un solo día nos dejaron más de 2 toallas de ducha. Necesitamos además que vinieran a arreglar varias cosas a la habitación (la cadena del WC que no funcionaba, la TV que hacía un ruido ensordecedor y por último un día que nos llovía literalmente del techo por un problema en el aire acondicionado que desde ese momento dejó de funcionar) en todas las ocasiones tardaron más de una hora en venir a ver qué pasaba. Así mismo, dejaron de hacernos la habitación en una ocasión. Al hacer el check out nos reclamaron un pago que habíamos abonado con tarjeta de crédito previamente. A pesar de demostrar con el extracto de la cuenta bancaria (que no teníamos por qué enseñar) el día, la hora yla cantidad del pago, nos hicieron abonar de nuevo la cantidad so pena de dejarnos marchar (con la humillación en recepción que eso conlleva) porque en su montañita de papeles de recibos no les constaba (la cantidad de dinero, da igual, es el hecho en sí…).El colofón final…la mitad de los integrantes de esta aventura hoy hemos dado positivos en COVID, así que revisen sus protocolos.

Excelente lugar para unas vacaciones, atención excelente, el lugar es muy bonito, las instalaciones son muy buenas, tal vez deberían culturizar más a los huéspedes para que recojan sus cosas de la.playa, incluyendo vasos plásticos, colillas de cigarrillo y demás. Cabe decir que es una playa muy limpia, pero podría ser mejor. El mar es espectacular, las animaciones y juegos son excelentes, los show nocturnos son buenos. 100% recomendado!

El Sr. Rafael Vicioso que da la bienvenida a los Huéspedes al restaurante Español La Fuente, es una persona muy grosera y mal educada que no debiera estar en ese puesto. Si el Sr. no esta complacido con su trabajo debería tener la dignidadde renunciar, pero no dañar la imagen de esta excelente instalación Hotelera

I was super disappointed with this trip. I heard nothing but good things about this resort. But, the service was by far the most disappointing thing. At dinner the buffet was a 2/10. The buffet food was not tasty and not Hot ever. The restaurant’s are fantastic but if you aren’t a premium member you can’t reserve every night for dinner. Also at dinner, they would come ask for your drink order after you were done eating. Multiple days i asked for a drink and the reply I got was “sorry we don’t have that” what am I paying for if you don’t have it? We asked for towels in our room multiple times and they would show up in our room hours later and sometimes wouldn’t get them at all. The activities on the resort are fun and the lounges and bars are good. The pools and beaches are also great. Would I ever come back for the price I paid ? No way. I would come back for half the price if that. Total trip 5/10….

The grounds and facilities of the Bávaro Barcélo Palace are beautiful and huge.We stayed in the family section with a great interactive kids pool.The rooms were spacious enough for the four of us and there were two balconies (one off of each bedroom).It did get a little noisy when all the little kids in the building woke up.There is vibrations of noise throughout.Despite the fact that the resort was full, there is plenty of space and room around the pool or on the beach.The only time you feel the crowds is when it’s feeding time.Then the place turns into a zoo.The food is sub-par at best.And because they have to turn over so much food so quickly to feed so many people it was often times served cold or raw.The same salads are served everywhere for breakfast, lunch and dinner.The quality and taste are really lacking.If the food was better we would return.But after 5 days of eating that food I was ready to go.

The place is beautiful, but the customer service is horrible. Nobody knows what’s going on. If you need anything you have to go to guest services where there is a long line to talk to someone. Most of the time they cannot even help you, and instead direct you somewhere else to search for help. The employees at the front desk give you a nasty attitude as well. The food is good but you have to almost fight for a table. The servers are no help either. If you want warm food at the buffet, you have to wait in line.The bar is good 👍. The bedroom was dirty and some of the cleaning staff just don’t care to give you a dirty room, I had to call multiple times to get some one to come to the room to clean properly. The laundry service charges a ridiculous amount of money. $3.75 for underwear, $5 for a shirt, $10 for a pair of pants. This is for laundry, not dry cleaned. So if you are thinking of going there make sure you bring plenty of clothes. Again, beautiful place, but that’s about it.

Hotel grande, organizado. Tem trenzinho para circular dentro do hotel o que ajuda muito. Fui com crianças pequenase apesar do clubinho ainda estar fechado pela pandemia tinha tantas opções de lazer que não fez tanta falta. Pela pandemia também não tinha apresentações noturnas, nem música ao vivo que sempre tem em.outros hotéis da rede. Mas, no geral achei bem completo e com estrutura boa.

Mal chegamos e já tivemos uma decepção seguida da outra..primeiro que na recepção disseram que nossa estadia era Premium level e nos encaminharam para um salão diferenciado com um super tratamento VIP. Até outro atendente vir nos dizer que não, que não éramos Premium level, e a partir de então viramos nada novamente. Chegando no quarto, a porta do banheiro não fecha e o cofre não funciona, o que está nos rendendo quase 1h esperando que venham arrumar. Já ligamos para a recepção quatro vezes e ninguém aparece. Mal chegamos e já queremos ir embora, bem frustrante.

Estuve en pareja en la 3ª semana de septiembre, El hotel en general tiene la categoría del grupo Barcelo, bien, limpio, enorme, para disfrutar todos los días sin aburrirte. La comida del Buffet genial, variada y de calidad, los jugos naturales impresionantes. Los restaurantes temáticos son fantásticos, mis favoritos el japones y el Italiano, sin problemas para reservar en los mismos, cada noche cenamos en uno distinto. Quiero hacer una mención especial para la Srta. Mariela Rosario, la encargada de recibirnos en el Bohio Dominicano, un encanto de persona, amable, simpática... un lujo que hay que conservar. Otra mención para el Sr. Adiascar de RRPP, eran nuestros 25 años de casados, un lujo de detalles y atención, es mas nos recibió a las 11 de la noche sin ningún problema. otra mención para Julio, el jardinero simpático que nos dio una masterclass sobre los cocos, el camarero delgadito del teatro por la noche (perdon no recuerdo el nombre) un artista de los mojitos... GRACIAS por el trato y la alegría con la que disfrutamos. Por últimos voy hacer una CRITICA CONSTRUCTIVA, la falta de espectáculos por la noche en el teatro por culpa del Covid es un cuento chino para ahorrar. Disponen de un teatro enorme, con ventilación, precioso, digno de disfrutar libre de covid, fue una pena, las noches eran aburridas, con esto hubieran conseguido la excelencia. My husband and I loved this resort. We stayed in the Adults only part of the resort but we still had access to the whole resort.We really enjoyed how friendly the staff was. Shout out to Edwin and Laura in the buffet, they were so fast and friendly.The room was clean and comfortable. The beach was beautiful. (There is seaweed but they try to clean it up and it didn't prevent us from swimming.) The restaurants were delicious.I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful resort.

The resort overall was nice, lots of pools and the unlimited drinks is great. Staff was amazing and friendly at all times which Is always a plus. The reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was the food, I feel like they should focus on quality more than quantity. The restaurants were below average, the seafood one was horrible, the steak one was also very bad the only decent one was the Mexican one and the buffets breakfast. Other than that the excursions would definitely make your trip better.

FOOD POISONING!Stayed here for 10 days (unfortunately).My boyfriend and I both got seriously ill with horrific food poisoning. Vomiting and diarrhea for three days couldn’t move with the pain in our stomach. Never experienced sickness like this. Be very careful with what you eat here. We reported it and they literally do not care.Never received my refund of over $800. Booked the holiday with my debit card a few months ago. Lost this card and closed this bank account as I was leaving the US to return home. Reception said they can’t refund the money to any other account or card. No other form of refund? Spent two days (after being violently ill) going back and forth to reception trying to rectify the situation. Kept telling me to call the bank that it’s the banks problem. So I called the bank three times. The bank explained every time it is impossible to refund money to a CLOSED account which I already knew but did it anyway. I expressed this to reception repeatedly. Didn’t listen and didn’t care.So basically robbed of over $800 and made violently sick by this place. Disgusting place. STAY AWAY.

Just stayed for 13 days and really wish the website stated that ALL of the pools close at 6pm and that the kids club is closed, the adults bar/ club is closed and no live entertainment. Only thing really for the kids was the arcade which if you want to entertain them will cost you,tokens cost about a dollar each, so get ready to drop some dough! But the workers are amazing,the rooms are nice and the food is so so, typical all inclusive resort stuff.Next trip we will unfortunately find another one that caters more to kids which doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and clean. The service was on par.however, the food was not so good.they can definitely do better in this category. The sports bar you could not get anything g to eat, , they should offer a 4 finger food menu for the guest. One other weird thing was the steak restaurant was playing Christmas music (no bueno). The hotel should stick with some soft upbeat traditional Dominican music.the nightly shows are back and exciting. The spa was amazing the treatment and the facility was on point. I hope to be back again. Thank you Dominican Republuc ❤️

Most everything about our stay was perfect. The resort was beautiful, the rooms were clean, and the staff were all kind and helpful. The only negative point was the food. Good food is a really important part of vacation and I would have been happier with fresh fruits and vegetables. However, most everything was deeply fried and tasted old. I wish they could've cut back on the quantity they provided, for higher quality items.

Best vacation ever. I had a great experience in the hotel even though not everything was open due to COVID. However they need to fix some stuff such as opening the coffee bar early to enjoy those delicious drinks, they need to open the shows and the need to put a snack/bar by the beach. If the have all that, the resort will be perfect for family and couples. There is some many stuffs to that you can’t do it even with one week staying there. I recommend to get the premium ocean view rooms, you will enjoy one of the most breathtaking view and have a VIP experience. I can’t way to go back with the family when everything goes back to normal again.

Loved this location, you feel like you’re in a postcard. Stayed in the family room which includes two separate areas, one side with a king size bed and bathroom, kids side has two full size beds with a separate bathroom and includes a shared patio between the two rooms with a jetted tub on the balcony overlooking the ocean. This is our first time experiencing an all inclusive resort. Looking forward to using the spa and booking an excursion. So far so good. Kids love it! Highly recommend.

Bueno y nada más. Las instalaciones nuevas, limpias, bien cuidadas ... La piscina y playa muuuuy bonitas, lo malo: la comida, por allí uno que otro plato se salva, si lo tuyo no es ir a comer, está muy bien. Con lo de la pandemia (enero 2021) se forman colas en los buffets de comida.

This resort is definitely a palace! It’s huge! I loved my room! We stayed in the panoramic suite. This resort is definitely meant for families. If you’re looking to party I don’t recommend coming here. I would recommend an adults only resort. They have a lot of family activities/amenities. They have a bowling alley, water park, mini golf, escape park, etc. The pools are huge! My only recommendation is to maybe have a dj at the pool areas because a lot of people seemed to just bring their portable speakers! Also, be prepared to wait a very long time to check in and check out. They have 2 sides one for check in and check with about 3-4 lines of people waiting to check in and check out.

My experience in this resort was overall good 3 out of 5. The location was beautiful and the facility was mostly modern and safe. I stayed in the premium room (VIP). I had access to an outdoor hot tub, room service and other perks. The staff members were overall nice to me, however I'm American-Dominican and spoke Spanish to them. I'm also the type of person to say Hi to people first with a smile on my face. The food in the buffet was O.K at best. The food in the restaurants were honestly pretty bad. I ate at the Italian restaurant and another restaurant called Coral which both had horrible food. Overall I gave this resort a sold 3 because of the beautiful beaches, breathtaking views, modern facility, and a cool experience. They do need to speed up the service with better customer service, and provide quality good tasting food. Thanks.

Un buen complejocon un muy mal servicio. La recepción es eterna, la comida muy regular,el selfservice una locura, la atención muy deficiente no por la falta de cordialidad pero el descontrol y los tiempos de atención no son admisibles. Ejemplo: la cena de fin de año. Cita a las 22h , no sirven nada hasta las 23:15 y eso después de insistir mucho, los platos muy regulares por no decir malos , muchas mesas no pudimos llegar a tiempo de las campanadas en en teatro por la falta de control. Esto es un ejemplo pero es asi como funciona todo. Y eso que están al 60%, si hubiera estado lleno seria imposible comer a mediodía y aún menos reservar la cena en alguno de los restaurantes temáticos Buen complejo pero a mucha distancia de merecer las estrellas que le asignan. Por esto no lo recomendaría

Excelente Hotel, excelentes atenciones y servicio. La comida del buffet y restaurants es muy buena. Personal atento y servicial. Actualmente está trabajando con ciertas limitaciones en cuanto a sus facilidades, sólo están hábiles algunos restaurantes algunas otras facilidades están cerradas. El hotel está trabajando cumpliendo las medidas y protocolos de higiene. Se debe hacer énfasis en el uso de mascarillas en las áreas sociales mientras no se use ningún servicio de comida, bebidas o bañarse.

We took the family room it was nice and clean with a microwave , mini fridge and a coffee maker. The restaurant were very nice and the food was great . I only have one complaint and is that there is no night entertainment at all . You eat and there is absolutely nothing to do. I was so bored at night. Because of that I’m planning to go to another resort in January unless they fix that .

We attended dolphin island and paid for $75 worth of pictures that we never received. I have emailed the hotel multiple times via email and phone, AND contacted dolphin island and I have gotten 0 responses from either. You can see now why I would be skeptical of both the hotel and dolphin island. After they have your money, they want nothing else to do with you. If you DO go to Barcelo being the great hotel that it is, I recommend NOT going on the dolphin island excursion. Absolute waste.

My experience with the resort was nice. The employees were nice and the ambience was great. My only problem is that they overcharged me twice. First, when I checked in, they charged me 50 dollars more than the price in my reservation. Then they told me they needed to make a price adjustment for my 14 year old son. They charged me another 185 dollars for this adjustment. When I asked what it was for, they told me it’s because he is a teen so he will have access to the teen club. Later on, I found out this club was closed so they charged me extra for no reason. I do not like being overcharged especially for services that we cannot enjoy. Overall, they charged me close to $250 dollars more than I was supposed to pay and it was for nothing additional. I’m extremely upset about it.

O complexo dos hotéis Barceló na Praia do Bávaro em Punta Cana é simplesmente inacreditável, pois se constitui em uma pequena cidade, com toda estrutura que um viajante ou turista pode almejar, localizado na Carretera Bávaro, 1, Avenida Barceló, Bávaro, Higuey 23000 na República Dominicana se destaca pela beleza das instalações que ficam completamente harmonizadas com a natureza e chamam a atenção pela limpeza e pelo cuidado do local. O complexo possui vários tipos de alojamentos, com diversos tipos de opções de pacotes, optamos pela opção All Incluse e reservamos uma Suíte Premium Ocean View, que possui sacada com vista para a bela praia do Bávaro e hidromassagem, o quarto era muito amplo, lindamente decorado, confortável, com cama king, ar condicionado, mesa de trabalho, cofre individual, secador de cabelo, frigobar, tv a cabo, internet, ótimo banho com dois chuveiros, sofás, mesas e poltronas confortáveis. Como tínhamos todas as refeições e bebidas incluídas no pacote e acesso a todos os restaurantes, optamos por almoçar praticamente todos os dias no ótimo restaurante La Brisa e reservamos as noites para conhecer os demais restaurantes temáticos. Aproveito aqui para fazer um agradecimento a todos os funcionários que nos atenderam com muita dedicação e cordialidade, mas quero destacar três pessoas, o Gerente Sr. Hendri, a Srta. Marcy, atendente da recepção Premium e a Srta. Maria Mercedes do Restaurante La Brisa, muito educados, cordiais, atenciosos e incansáveis em atender as necessidades dos clientes e resolver qualquer tipo de problema eventual. Destaco que o complexo disponibiliza um trenzinho 24 horas para os hóspedes se deslocarem pela imensa área, que possui várias piscinas, lago, cassino 24 horas, discotecas, cinema, restaurantes temáticos, teatro com espetáculos todas as noites, pista de boliche, parque aquático, ilha dos piratas, local para nado com golfinhos, campo de futebol, campo de golfe e quadras de tênis, entre outros.. O complexo fica localizado à beira da bela e tranquila praia do Bávaro, que oferece um visual paradisíaco, com belos coqueiros e água calmas e muito transparentes, onde também ficam disponíveis caiaques, Stand-Up Paddle e mini veleiros para os hóspedes. Dentro do complexo existem vários mini shoppings com uma enorme variedade de lojas de roupas, perfumes, bebidas, eletrônicos, roupas, lembrancinhas e souvenires, Room Service 24 horas, ótimos bares, grande variedade de restaurantes, estacionamentos amplos, sauna, lavanderia, SPA, academia esala de jogos. O atendimento é bastante cordial e atencioso, o café da manhã é muito farto, bem servidoe de boa qualidade, com um variado buffet que inclui frutas da estação, pães, frios, omeletes, sucos, iogurte, bebidas frias, chocolate, chá e café, entre outros. Aproveito aqui para agradecer a gentileza do hotel em nos presentear logo na chegada com uma linda garrafa de Rum da grife Barceló e com uma bela bonequinha temática. Destaco como único ponto negativo e que não posso deixar de citar é o fato de que grande quantidade de hóspedes, quefumam desde cigarros normais, até charutos,em locais não permitidos, especialmente nos corredores dos restaurantes e na área do teatro, sem que ninguém do complexo tome qualquer tipo de atitude, mesmo quando avisados. Aproveito ainda para deixar como sugestão, que o hotel analise a possibilidade de disponibilizar um transporte periódico para hóspedes que desejam conhecer o centrinho, onde fica localizado o Coco Bongo.

Hotel excelente! O atendimento é muito especial. Todos os funcionários são muito educados e prestativos. São 11 restaurantes no total. Somente paga a parte o Francês. Destaque para os restaurantes Kyoto (japones) Lá Fuente (espanhol) achei a comida espetacular. Tem um cassino 24 horas e uma discoteca dentro do hotel! Além do Teatro com espetáculos a noite, da pista de boliche e um parque aquático. São diversas piscinas e tem um bar dentro de uma delas! All inclusive de qualidade com whisky12 anos e vodka Absolut, além de diversos drinks com a opção alcoólico ou não! Todos os quartos tem sua hidro na sacada! Sem falar na praia de água transparente e sem nenhuma onda!

An invested hotel, very clean, cozy, very large and therefore not noticeable in the various facilities. It is recommended to sleep in the palace and not adults, the rooms are more luxurious and new, most of the restaurants, casino and club in the palace. There is a train at the hotel that takes between the buildings but takes time to arrive and the journey is slow. In addition, if you sleep in the palace more restaurants are included in the price. Dinner restaurants are very tasty and it is recommended to book early, sometimes you need to book a day or more in advance, depending on what time you want and how many people. The hotel staff is lovely and happy, there are lots of sessions, an interesting and beautiful show every evening show every evening. The club dances and the casino is a bit boring and relatively empty.

I loved my stay it was an amazing experience. The hotel was always aware of my needs. The room service was great they were always changing everything on time. The restaurant were amazing they had super hot food done on time and the service was great from their employees. The animation team they had was amazing because they were always entertaining us daily with different activities. I remember one of the team members Melvin del Rosario that he was super happy all the time and always encouraged us to participate in the activities. If it wasn’t for his motivation we wouldn’t have experienced all the fun activities the hotel offers. I have no complains over my stay i would love to repeat it at any moment.

Another wonderful stay at a Barcelo resort! Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We even had a hot tub out on our balcony. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The pools were beautiful and big. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with lots of chairs for guests. There were plenty of bars around the resort so you could get a drink just about anywhere. Buffets were good, not great. The restaurants that you book for dinners were very good. Kyoto was our favorite. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely come back here again.

It is a great all inclusive hotel. It has some flaws, but the many prod outweigh the cons. Food is regularly good, shows are better than most, amenities are very good, water sports are mostly included and the friendliness of the staff is very nice.
